Background
Dr. Curry has served for over 15 years with MSDH. Prior to becoming District Health Officer, he served as a clinician in districts 1, 2 and 3. Before joining the Department of Health, he was in private practice in Eupora, MS. He received his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Mississippi, and his M.D. from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He completed his Family Medicine residency from UMMC in 1986.
