The rape crisis programs provide direct services to victims of rape and sexual assault and provide a public awareness campaign aimed at reducing the incidence of sexual assault through a variety of media. Shelters Domestic violence shelters provide public education on domestic violence and the cycle of violence. Resources for the prevention of family violence and sexual assault are provided through contracts with domestic violence shelters and rape crisis programs.
