The Choctaw Fire Department will be hosting LSU at Station 1 on Sept 2nd - 4th for the Public Safety WMD Response — Sampling Techniques & Guidelines Course.
This course is FREE and will include lecture and hands on training. The training will count towards EMT continuing education and law enforcement recertification hours. The course will start at 08:00 am.

Course Description
The Public Safety WMD Response — Sampling Techniques and Guidelines course prepares responders within state, county/parish, and municipal emergency response agencies to safely and effectively conduct public safety operations at WMD incidents. This performance-level course provides detailed technical information and includes hands-on practice of actions required of emergency responders in such situations. These operations are consistent with crime scene/evidentiary guidelines established by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
