Task Force Goals

House Bill 759 created the Task Force on Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention within the Mississippi Department of Health during the 2001 Legislative session. Senate Bill 2314 revised the membership of the Task Force on Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention and clarified the reporting requirement of the Task Force. About the Task Force Task Force members represent state agencies, private organizations, and industry representatives appointed by the Legislature.
